The company is established on two sites in Sambreville in Belgium.
The original site is used to house our R&D employees, the laboratories, and the various pilot plant units (CNT production, masterbatch dispersions, etc.) and the HS&E resources. This location also includes the Quality Assurance and Quality Control facility.
Nanocyl's pilot plant hosts our first reactor for the production of Multi-wall Carbon Nanotubes (NANOCYL™ NC 7000).
In 2008, the pilot plant became Nanocyl R&D centre. Leading researchers, scientists and chemists from around the world are performing tests on Carbon Nanotubes and formulated Carbon Nanotubes products at this facility. The Nanocyl R&D Center has become a key learning center in Europe for scientists performing studies and developing knowledge about carbon nanotubes.
