- Carbon chip project focuses on silicium-based nanoelectronics.
- Inteltex project, which Nanocyl is coordinating, investigates the field of high tech textiles, for applications such as sensors.

- Anticarb deals with functionalized carbon nanotubes for cancer therapy.
- Dephotex will alow Development of Photovoltaic Textiles based on novel Fibres.
- Finelumenwhich is a project dedicated to the training of tomorrow’s researchers, focuses on cavity confined luminophores for advanced photonic materials.
- Thermonano will allow the set up of low-temperature heat exchangers based on thermally-conductive polymer nanocomposites.
- Solhydromics concerns nanodesigned electrochemical converter of solar energy into hydrogen, hosting natural enzymes or their mimics.
- Nanorai's consortium will develop X-Ray tube based on the Field Emission properties of Carbon Nanotubes.
C. Specific Belgian Projects : DG06 supported

- Nanocompo investigates synergies between carbon nanotubes and other fillers for various properties and applications. Nanocyl is the coordinator of this project.
- Conductfil concerns spinnable carbon nanotube nanocomposites, and carbon nanotubes localized at the interface of bi-component blends.
- ICS deals with intelligent cooling systems, and the preparation of thermally-conductive materials for the aerospace industry.
- Picom studies the membrane-electrode assembly for fuel cell.
D. ESA Projects
Nanocyl also is participating in the ESA project “Non-conventional Matrix/Carbon Nanotubes Reinforced Composite for Space Applications.”
