FUNDED PROJECTS COORDINATOR
Reports to : IP, Legal Affairs and Funded Projects Manager
Status : Full time staff
Position Responsibilities / Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Coordinator role is
o to evaluate, coordinate, and monitor R&D Walloon Region and European projects effectively, in the frame of the requirements, framework conditions and progress of these projects, and to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget and under the agreed quality standards.
o to write and present the reports (financial, …) related to these projects.
o to work with the IP Manager on IP projects such as business technical analysis.
Employment Standards
- Graduate/ Engineer/Master degree in chemistry with a strong scientific background
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of project management and planning procedures, practices and techniques
- Strong communications and influencing skills are essential
- Prioritizing; working on multiple activities and projects
- Excellent English/French written and oral communications skills
- Adaptable
- Conceptual strength
- Good, energetic, flexible and enthusiastic team player
- Must be self-motivated and independent, able to work with a minimum of supervision and to work well with the complete organization
- Polished presentation and interpersonal skills required for representing the firm in diverse environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office suite of applications.
