THERMOCYL™ is Nanocyl’s trade name for a range of CNT dispersions that provide thermal protection on any substrate.
Based on silicone resins containing multi-wall carbon nanotubes, THERMOCYL™ exhibits exceptional flame barrier properties combined with excellent adhesion to glass, wood, metals, composites and thermoplastics.
It also provides improved abrasion and scratch resistance, and produces no toxic gases or fire droplets.
The viscosity of THERMOCYL™ resins is shear-rate dependent, making it the perfect candidate for non-dripping paints.
THERMOCYL™ is available in a wide range of viscosities for sprayable and brushable coatings, and gunnable sealants.
