Typical loading for static dissipative applications are around 2% to 3% of carbon nanotubes in the final compound. The final loading depends primarily on the compounding conditions, the viscosity of the basic resin, and the dilution equipment.

Because carbon nanotubes are produced in agglomerates, the dispersion process requires dedicated equipment and let-down processes. Nanocyl optimizes the dispersion process for its customers by allowing let-down of the masterbatches only after they take care of the first step of dispersing the arranged nanotubes in the matrix.
