For the headquarter based in Sambreville, Belgium, Nanocyl has a vacancy for a HSE Specialist.
As Senior HSE Advisor, your responsibilities will include the following :
· Provision of day to day HSE advice and support
· Interaction, collaboration and treatment of important files with administrations
· Coordination of external research tasks
· Development and implementation of HSE Communication Plans
· Representation of Nanocyl on HSE topics at customers
· Support and supervision of a small team of HSE advisor and assistant, providing HSE reports and Environmental data to management and clients.
Candidates for the role must have the following skills and experience :
· University Degree level in Sciences or Occupational Safety
· A minimum of five years related experience in an industry or consulting HSE function as well as international experience
· Up-to-date working knowledge of applicable HSE national and international legislation and safety regulation
· Competencies in risk & toxicological evaluations
· Knowledge of the REACH regulation (Belgium and other countries)
· Knowledge of International Institutions working rules like OECD, ISO, JRC, NIOSH, EPA, CEFIC, …
· Knowledge of the Life Cycle analysis (LCA)
· Able to put in place any approach by following CEFIC recommendations in the Responsible Care field
· Understanding of security issues
· Excellent oral, interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent public speaking, presentation and training skills
· Flexible approach to work and travel to meet business needs.
